Who must Marseille sell?
Marseille’s pursuit of Olivier Ntcham is fast becoming a complicated one, with several movable pieces on this particular transfer board.
There is concrete interest in the midfielder, as Record Sport exclusively revealed, but sales must be made before they can set aside the necessary funds.
So, which sales are the ones Celtic fans should look out for?
We told on Monday night that Morgan Sanson, a target for West Ham, was the big one to keep an eye on as the Ligue 1 side were prepared to demand £35million for him.
But reports on Tuesday claimed the Hammers had bid for Villarreal’s Pablo Fornals, which casts doubt on a move for Sanson.
The other two players that Andre Villas-Boas could offload are Kevin Strootman and Luiz Gustavo.
Strootman’s injury record, however, is a point of concern for potential suitors, having undergone major knee surgery three times since 2014.
Gustavo, 31, has another year left on his deal and is highly unlikely to command a huge fee if he moves on, but a combined sale with his Dutch compatriot would likely be enough to allow Marseille to move for Ntcham.
