One-time Aston Villa midfielder Jordan Veretout is at the centre of a tug of war between AC Milan and Roma, reports in Italy claim.

The 26-year-old spent an ill-fated season at Villa Park which concluded with Villa’s relegation to the Championship.

The Frenchman has gone on to bigger and better things, establishing himself a star performer for Seria A side Fiorentina.
