Marseille sporting director Andoni Zubziaretta is reportedly tempted to quit the Ligue 1 club and move to Arsenal.
The Gunners are on the hunt for a new technical director following the departure of head of recruitment Sven Mislintat earlier this year.
They missed out on former Roma chief Monchi, who snubbed a move to north London in favour of a return to Sevilla.

But, according to French newspaper L’Equipe, Zubizarreta is ready to hop across the Channel and join Unai Emery’s revolution.
The former Spain goalkeeper moved to the Ligue 1 side in 2016, at the same time as manager Rudi Garcia.
But it’s claimed he is bored at the French club and has grown weary at Marseille’s failure to close the gap on Paris Saint-Germain and the other teams above them.

According to L’Equipe, the 57-year-old sporting director has begun to make his feelings known to people within the club.
Marseille currently sit fifth in Ligue 1, 32 points off league leaders PSG following a 2-2 draw with Angers at home on Saturday.
Mislintat, meanwhile, left Arsenal in February, only 14 months after moving to north London from Borussia Dortmund.
