Celtic could be set for a hefty windfall if Moussa Dembele moves to Manchester United this summer.

Mirror Sport reported United are keeping close tabs on the Lyon striker as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to add to his attacking options.

Arsenal are also keeping an eye on Dembele, who has scored 18 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side this term.

Dembele signed for Lyon from Celtic in August 2018 for a fee in the region of £20m after two seasons at Parkhead.

The latest interest is likely to alert the Scottish champions, who inserted a sell-on clause in Dembele’s switch to France, reports the Daily Record.

Celtic had a 10 percent sell-on clause when they sold Virgil van Dijk to Southampton and the Dutchman became a £75m defender when he joined Liverpool .

That earned Celtic £7.5m and they will boost their coffers again if Dembele does move to the Premier League.

The uncertainty over the manager’s job could also work in United’s favour with boss Bruno Genesio saying he will leave this summer.

Jose Mourinho is reportedly in the frame to take over.

United are looking to improve their attacking options this summer amid uncertainty over Romelu Lukaku’s future.

Juventus and Inter Milan are among the clubs keeping tabs on Lukaku, who is no longer first choice under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery remains a long-term admirer of Dembele’s and made enquiries before his move to Lyon.

The Gunners want to bring in a wide forward with Danny Welbeck out of contract this summer and Dembele is an option.

Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser is on Emery’s wishlist this summer after an excellent campaign in the Premier League.
