Ousmane Dembele joined the Blaugrana from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in August 2017, in a deal believed to a worth €105 million, which made him the joint-second most expensive footballer in the history of the game alongside countryman Paul Pogba at the time.
The former Stade Rennais winger made 42 appearances in all competitions during the 2018/19 campaign, scoring a respectable 14 goals and providing eight assists.
However, according to Spanish publication AS, the 22-year-old has come under increasing scrutiny, with question marks being raised over his attitude.

It is believed the ambidextrous attacker angered members of Barcelona’s staff and first team after missing a training session in November 2018, before turning up late for training a month later.
The latest reported revelation from AS is that the former Dortmund star was late a third time in the week leading up to the Copa del Rey final, which Ernesto Valverde’s side lost 2-1 to Valencia.
According to the report, in a bid to cover his tracks, Dembele highlighted the injury that he suffered against Celta Vigo in May as an excuse for not showing up early, insisting that he was doing recovery work with a different physiotherapist.
While Barca coach Valverde is believed to have been silent about the incident, it is believed that senior figures at the club have warned Dembele that if he shows up late again for training, he will run the risk of being transfer-listed.
Since joining the Camp Nou outfit, Dembele has made 65 appearances for the club, scoring 18 times and managing 17 assists.
