The transfer window is really heating up as the big money moves in the Championship begin to take shape.

Here is a look at the biggest rumours doing the rounds on Friday.

Fulham lining up move for Brighton attacker

Relegated Premier League sider Fulham are considering a £15million bid for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Anthony Knockaert, according to  The Sun.

The 27-year-old is was the 2017 Championship player of the year and the paper reports he could be tempted away from the top flight by potential wages of £40,000 a week.

With bidding farewell to Craven Cottage and,

Fulham manager Scott Parker is looking to put a side together for an immediate return to the Premier League but will have to do so without Ryan Babel and Andre Schurrle while Ryan Sessegnon is expected to follow.

After striker Aleksandar Mitrovic signed a new contract at Fulham last week the addition of Knockaert would give them a fearsome attack next season.

Spurs eyeing Leeds star Phillips

Tottenham have launched a second raid on Leeds United after joining the bidding for rising midfield star Kalvin Phillips according to The Mirror

Spurs have already done business with Leeds after paying £9m for teenage winger Jack Clarke, who is remaining on loan at Elland Road next season, and are now targeting Phillips.

Aston Villa have made the early running in the race to sign Phillips, who was named in the EFL Team of the Season, and have offered £11million.

Newcastle United are also keen on the Leeds academy graduate, while Wolves and Bournemouth are understood to have cooled their initial interest.




Villa tracking Sessegnon

According to the latest reports promoted Premier League side Aston Villa are one of a number of top flight clubs monitoring Fulham ace Ryan Sessegnon.

The 19-year-old has impressed at Craven Cottage since his debut in 2016 and was part of the Fulham team that beat Villa in the play-off final back in May 2018.

He had a tough first season in the Premier League in 2018/19 but is still considered one of the most exciting young talents in English football.

Sessegnon only has one-year left on his deal with Fulham and has shown no sign of agreeing a new deal with the West London club.

Coventry City defender set to sign for Sunderland

Sunderland have agreed a deal to sign fee agent Jordan Willis according to the Echo .

Willis is on reported to be on Wearside to put the final touches to a move and undergo a medical.

A deal would be a significant boost for Black Cats manager Jack Ross who identified the former Coventry City defender as one of his key targets for the summer.

Willis reportedly had significant interest from the Championship but now seems to have opted for the switch to the Stadium of Light.

Blades agree Robinson fee

Sheffield United are reported to have agreed a £6million fee with Preston North End for Republic of Ireland striker Callum Robinson.

Wilder wants at least two forwards this summer and has moved for Robinson, who was Preston’s top scorer last season with 13 goals.

Robinson, 24, also contributed three assists, despite the former Aston Villa trainee missing four months of the campaign through injury.

The Premier League new boys are also interested in Swansea striker Oli McBurnie and Brentford hit man Neal Maupay.

 

Millwall add striker

Millwall have signed striker Jan Dadi Bodvarsson from Reading.

The Iceland international moves for an undisclosed fee.
