Celtic definitely need to sign a new right-back this summer.
The champions of Scotland are set to lose Mikael Lustig and Christian Gamboa, with both their contracts expiring this summer.
And Jeremy Toljan did little to impress during his short loan spell at Parkhead, and his parent club Borussia Dortmund reportedly want to sell (weltfussball.de).
The Hoops should be looking elsewhere, with the German having failed to convince.
Someone the club should be taking a look at as a possible long-term option, is the Nantes defender Enock Kwateng.
The Frenchman, who has been capped at U20 level, is set to leave the Ligue 1 outfit with his contract expiring.
He made 32 appearances in all competitions for the club in 2018/19 but has been unable to agree fresh terms.
Kwateng is a highly rated right-back and was linked with a move to Watford and Southampton earlier this year (Goal France).
The energetic star loves to bomb up and down the right flank using his pace, and has the versatility to fill in at centre-back if needed.
Celtic need to be smart this summer with their spending as wholesale changes are necessary – and Kwateng on a free transfer would be a superb start to the summer.
